Autoresponders

Hello,

Gave up on the free autoresponder script, seemed to be to much hassle, and never seemed to work OK.

To this end I have signed up with aweber, and setup all the autoresponder mail messages for my gardening tips website. All in all very easy to do, and I already have people signed up to my emails ;-). I''l keep it going for a couple of months and see if the return is OK

I'll right a small review on aweber soon. I have a lot of writing to do!!!!

I am currently starting to right an article on Yoga Mats that I will post on yoga supplies, when I get the chance.

Other than that the usual time is being spend on creating more articles and then trying to get the time to distribute them which is a long lonely task :-)

Still working on getting my autoresponder to work correctly for my gardening tips site. I can add messages and they get delivered OK, but if I add more than 3 messages it displays the 3rd message as the one to be delivered on each day. The real messages are still saved OK. Will have to have a bit of a hack around as it seems to be a bit of a bug.

The joy of free software!

The rss feeds seem to be working well, one thing I have noticed is the page load time has increased and the script contacts the server to get the feed. Feed for all do have a rss caching module, which you get if you purchase there feedforall software, which is about $40. Might be worth the investment.

I have noticed a sharp rise in vistors since addinging the RSS Feed to my site, which is all good news. As I think I have said I am going to create a RSS Feed for my gardening site, which the feedforall software can do for me.

Other than that just been adding more content to my sites, which is good, really have to sit down and distribute more articles though. When will I get the time :-)

I have also updated my tennis web site with a new tennis tips about the half volley.

This shot requires more perfect timing, eyesight, and racquet work than any other, since its margin of safety is smallest and its manifold chances of mishaps numberless. So have a read and let me know what you think, you will find a whole host of other tennis tips on the site.

Right got the RSS feeds working, on all my sites. Yahoo!!! Took a bit longer than I hoped and still need a bit of tweaking but looks good so far.

Not really that hard and using the rss2html free script, but just a few things that if you don't know you might feel like your banging your head of a brick wall for a while.

I'll write the quick and easy way of doing it soon, and best of all its for free!!

So next step is to get as much content as I can on the sites, I have a lot of content for the yoga supplies, tennis supplies and gardening tips websites allready to go. Might take a while but it is better to use your own articles.
